Laura is starting her fourth year of teaching at HLCC. She has been married to her husband, Rick, for 14 years and they have 3 children; Nate, Ryan, and Samantha. Nate is a 4th grader and Ryan is a 2nd grader at Etna Elementary. Samantha is 2 years old and growing leaps and bounds. Laura graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1993 and attended The Ohio State University for Early Childhood Education. Laura also received her CDA that focuses on Early Childhood Education. Laura enjoys watching her children play sports, reading, and watching movies.

Sign Language Instructor

Amy is beginning her second year at Hosanna Lutheran Childhood Center as an Assistant Teacher and Sign Language Instructor. Amy is a graduate of Watkins Memorial High School and Columbus State Community College. Amy has been married to her husband, Mike, for 19 years. They have two children; Luke and Lily. The family also has a dog named Maggie. When Amy isn't working with the children at HLCC she likes to hang out with family and friends. Her family enjoys camping, going to the movies, and playing outside. In addition to working with children at HLCC, Amy also enjoys volunteering in Luke and Lily's classroom.

5 Day Pre-K Program

Janet is an tfourteen year teaching veteran at Hosanna Lutheran Childhood Center. Janet graduated from Findlay High School. She has been married to husband Roger for 39 years, and has two children; a son, James and a daughter Beth. She is also a grandmother to grandsons Evan, Jay and Jacob, and granddaughter JessieAnne. In her spare time Janet enjoys bowling, reading, and spending time with children of all ages.

2 day Preschool and 3 Day Pre-K Program

Karen has been teaching at HLCC for 11 years. She is a graduate of Watkins Memorial High School and attended CTI and Columbus State Community College. She has been married to her husband Rob for 25 years. They have three children; Tyler, Ryan and Kyla. Tyler is a graduate of Eastland Career Center, Ryan is a graduate of Groveport Madison High School, and Kyla attends Groveport Preparatory School. Karen has a large extended family which includes dogs, cats, Ball Pythons, a corn snake, a turtle, a goldfish and frogs. Karen enjoys reading, gardening, going to the zoo and movies, and spending time with family and friends.

2 day Preschool and 3 day Pre-K program

Lori has been teaching at HLCC for 8 years. Lori recently earned her CDA for Early Childhood Development. Lori has married to her husband Tim for 21 years and they have three children; Nichole, Tyler and Kaleb. Nichole is a sophomore at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Tyler is a junior at CTEC and Kaleb is an 8th grader at Watkins Memorial Junior High School. Lori enjoys watching Kaleb play sports, scrapbooking, shopping and watching movies with her family. Lori recently enjoyed a mission trip to Trinidad in the summer of 2010 with her children Nichole and Tyler.
